The agony of newly elected Bomachoge Borabu member of Parliament Zadock Ogutu kept on deepening after Kisii High court ordered for vote recount and scrutiny in specific polling stations as requested by opponents.
According to Justice Hellen Omondi, there was a need for the petitioner to scrutinise and recount votes at Nyakorere Primary school.
Omondi said the petitioners provided enough reasons beyond doubt.
"The court will appoint its officials who will also work with both agents to ensure that scrutiny and recount are done as per the guidelines of the court," said Omondi.
Zadock was elected on an independent candidate ticket and is currently facing four petitions at the Kisii High court.
