A 37 year old lady has shocked residents of Bombura, Kisii County after she divorced her husband for a 20 year old man.

Those aware to the incident said that the woman only identified as Monica decided to abandon her husband of three years. 

"She used to complain that her husband was not providing for the family. She then threatened to leave her which she did," said Geoffrey Mogire, a local. 

Area Nyumba Kumi official Benson Bichang'a confirmed the incident saying that men were at risk of losing their wives.

 "Our several efforts to ask the man to provide for his family hit tbe wall and now their is nothing we can do," he said.
