A middle-aged woman was on Wednesday arraigned  in a Nakuru court and charged with theft.

The accused, Alice Wangui, who appeared before chief magistrate Bernard Moraro was charged with withdrawing Sh96,000 from her M-Pesa account on February 14, 2016 which was sent to her line by mistake from Musoni Kenya sacco.

The accused admitted committing the offence. 

Wangui told the court that she is ready to refund the money back to Musoni Kenya sacco.

The court will issue its judgment over the matter on December 6.
