A middle-aged woman on Monday pleaded guilty to chopping off her husband’s manhood after he overslept.
The accused, Angel Mutuku, chopped off Stephen Ochieng’s manhood on February 16 at Magongo, Changamwe in Mombasa County.
The court heard that on the material date, at around 5:30am, the accused woke up her husband and accused him of oversleeping.
Mutuku is then said to have removed her husband’s under wear , grabbed his manhood before shopping it off with a knife.
Ochieng then locked himself in the room and called his brother who took him to Bomu Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
Prosecuting Counsel Lydia Kagori asked Magistrate Julius Nang’ea to defer the case to allow them present the facts of the case, adding that there may be more charges preferred against the accused.
Magistrate Nang’ea granted the application and directed the prosecution to read the facts to Mutuku on February 23.
