A Nairobi woman was arraigned in court on Thursday 7th October for assaulting a man in a club on September 25 within Nairobi's Muthaiga area.
30-year-old Mercy Wanjiru told the court that she assaulted Onesmus Michuki after he did not satisfy her in bed.
In the incidence, the man sustained serious injuries after Ms Wanjiru allegedly used a sharp object to attack him.
Michuki however told police he had gone to the club to watch a match with his 3 friends and bought them beers.
According to Michuki, trouble began after Wanjiru checked in and questioned why he bought beers for his friends and abandoned her outside yet she was not a prostitute.
He noted that she then took a bottle of beer and hit him on the cheek and caused excessive bleeding.
Michuki was immediately rescued by friends but lost Sh6 300 in the incident.
Wanjiru on her part told the court that Michuki had known her for a week and she was not happy since he did not perform well in bed to satisfy her.
She was released on a cash bail of Sh15 000 and the case will be next heard on January 27, 2017.
