The woman was allegedly caught stealing some cash from her business colleague at around 4 PM; she was caught trying to force her hand into her colleague’s purse.

The business woman who identified herself as Rosemary Wanjiku claimed that she had been losing money under unclear circumstances since her colleague started working at the market nearly a year ago.

“When my money and goods started disappearing under unclear circumstances, she was my first suspect but I decided not to confront her. I decided to investigate the matter and gather enough proof first,” said Wanjiku.

Wanjiku pleaded with the mob not to kill the woman.

It is reported that the accused woman lost all her money and goods before being chased away from the market. She was warned never to return to the market.

Sandra Ayub, a trader at the market reported that the two women had not been in good terms.

She stated that the two women always complained of missing goods and money and blamed each other for their misfortunes.

“Wanjiku has been complaining of the woman since came she came to the market last year,” said Ayub.
