A woman has burnt her husband with kerosene after he found her with another woman in a compromising situation on their matrimonial bed.
The woman identified as Christine did this on Tuesday, at Nyamare village in Kisii County.
"He sent me to the market yet he had other plans, once I came back home I found him with his mpango wa kando who happens to be my friend," she said.
According to her, the woman who was with her husband is also married with two kids.
Mary Kemunto a neighbor who witnessed the whole incident said the woman then rushed to the kitchen picked a bottle of kerosene that she used to burn her husband with.
"I tried to stop her but she never gave me an ear," he said.
Area Nyumba Kumi official Elvis Ososi confirmed the incident and said the man is adulterous.
Ososi said Daniel sustained serious burn injuries on his thighs and hands and he is currently being treated at Riana dispensary.
The official called on married couples to stop engaging in illicit love affairs and remain faithful in their marriages.
"Never force yourself to marry someone you cannot manage. That is the only way relationships will move well," he said.
