A woman who gave birth to triplets in Nguirubi village in Limuru, Kiambu County has called on well wishers to help her raise her children.
The woman identified as Monica Wamaitha aged 32 gave birth at Kenyatta National Hospital 4 days ago.
“When I was at the KNH I was fine but now that I have been discharged I am worried on how I will raise my children due to the financial challenges I am facing. I am appealing to well-wishers to help me with funds to buy food, clothes and general upkeep for my children,” Wamaitha said on Monday.
She said so far she has received food stuff and clothing donations from a local politician Gladys Chania.
Wamaitha said she will reach out to local leaders and elected leaders from the region to help her.
"It is along journey for me but I will reach out to leaders in the region and other locals to ask for help to raise my babies,” she added.
