The accused, Rebeca Adhiambo, who appeared before chief magistrate Bernard Mararo was charged that on diverse dates between October 16,2016 and December 2016 fraudulently received sh 150,000 from Eric Onyango pretending to influence the employment of his son in the forces.

According to police, the accused is believed to have conned a lot of unsuspecting job seekers who would do anything to get a job at the uniformed service.

Rebeca in her mitigation urged the court to be released on bond on grounds that she is a bread winner of her family.

Chief magistrate Bernard Mararo in his ruling denied the accused bond and directed her to be remanded at Nakuru Gk prison awaiting hearing of the matter.

The case was slated for mention on January 11.
