A woman was on Tuesday arraigned in Nakuru High court and charged with the murder of her husband.
The accused Mary Njeri allegedly stabbed her husband in Maralal town for late drinking.
Lady Justice Janet Mulwa however, ruled that the Nakuru High court has no jurisdiction to handle the case.
She transferred the case to Nanyuki High court since the offence was committed in Maralal.
"The offence does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Nakuru law courts," she said as quoted by Star.
"I direct that the matter is transferred and the plea taken on May 25," Mulwa said.
The accused will be remanded at the Maralal police station as police conclude investigations.
Njeri was arrested on Sunday after she allegedly stabbed Zachary Wambugu following a domestic squabble.
Wambugu was rushed to Samburu county referral hospital but succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment.
