A woman in Masega is crying for help after unknown people stole her three goats.
The woman left her goats firmly tethered and grazing, as usual, going to do her routine business.
On returning, she found her goats missing and could only see the ropes that were used to tether the animals.
The thieves allegedly took only three, leaving some others, especially male goats. The locals then said a white had been spotted in the area, and they suspect they were behind the incident.
Some of the locals then tried to search for clues, going as far as speaking to some police officers on a roadblock who said they had seen nothing unusual.
They, however, said such cases were on the rise and went on to reveal that they had earlier arrested thieves said to have stolen goats ant trying to run using a motorcycle.
They were apprehended and taken to court, where they were found guilty and are currently serving jail term. Locals have been urged to ensure they are alert, and that they report any unusual movements or people who might be behind such cases.
