Residents of Kenori village, South Mugirango constituency in Kisii County were left in shock on Monday morning following an incident a man found his wife having sex with another man in their bathroom.
Locals say that the man identified as Justus Kirera said he returned home from their farm at around 11 am when he heard funny sounds emanating from their bathrooms.
"I returned home from the farm and was going into the house when I heard funny sounds from the bathroom. When I reached their I found my wife engaging in the act with some other man," said Mr Kirera.
This prompted the Mr Kirera to attack the man with blows and kicks.
However, the man overpowered him and disappeared from the compound.
"The man is lucky that I was not carrying my panga at the time, otherwise I could have killed him on the spot. For this reason I have opted to send her back to her parents," he said.
Area Nyumba Kumi official Issac Oroo asked wives to be faithful to their husbands in order to help sort differences that might arise.
"I also ask men to respect wives who are not theirs, that is the only solution to this," he said.
