Nanyuki police officers are pursuing a woman suspected to have killed her boyfriend on Tuesday night.
According to Laikipia East sub-county police boss James Kithuka said the incident occurred at Katheri village at 7.00pm.
Kithuka said the deceased was stabbed several times by his girlfriend who fled after the incident.
The body of Kimtai was found by his brothers at his house lying in a pool of blood.
It is alleged that the suspect has been demanding for money she gave Kimtai to purchase a motorcycle.
The police boss assured that investigations have been launched to establish if the woman suspect who is yet to be named was alone or there were other people who killed the deceased.
