An elderly woman has been charged before a Nakuru court over the murder of her husband.

According to the prosecution, Naomi Njeri, together with her son, conspired and killed her husband in Njoro, Nakuru.

The two were before magistrate Maureen odero.

The deceased Samuel Mwangi, was a businessman within Njoro.

The two are said to have decided to murder Mwangi after marital problems emerged between him and the wife.

The suspects denied the charge and were released on Sh300, 000 bond each.
