A middle aged woman has gone into hiding after she attacked and injured her husband’s manhood.
The incident happened on Wednesday evening at Rwora village in Kitutu Chache South constituency, Kisii County.
Neighbors say the woman identified as Grace attacked her husband, injured him on his manhood using a kitchen knife accusing him of having other women outside marriage.
“Grace has been complaining about her husband’s infidelity for over 8 months ago. On Wednesday, she found the husband on her way to Mogumo market with another woman. When she returned home in the evening she picked a quarrel with the husband prompting to the mysterious attack," said Kepha Nyamote, a neighbor.
The woman picked a kitchen knife which she used to attack the husband's manhood," he added.
Area assistant chief Simon Mbwayo said the man is currently admitted at Nyagancha dispensary where is currently being treated.
"We are now tracing the woman who has gone into hiding. I ask couples to solve their differences peacefully to avoid such incidents," he said.
