Moenga Achwoga, the grandfather to the child said the woman identified as Zipporah Biyaki divorced her husband in 2015 after a domestic fight.
“Biyake separated with my son 2 years ago. She ran away and abandoned the child who was 5 months old. After we have spend a lot of money caring for the baby, on Friday she sneaked into the compound and stole the child. We will not allow her to take the child to a different man yet her dad is alive,” said Achwoga.
The child’s father Job Moenga who is a police officer in Wajir, when contacted said he will not succumb to frustrations by the woman and he is not ready to reunite with her.
“I already moved on with another woman. All I want is my child back and not the woman,” he said.
