Narok Women Representative Soipan Kudate has welcomed the recent appointment of Justice David Maraga as the new Chief Justice.

Kudate, a lawyer by profession, wished the new CJ well, saying he is up to the task.

She referred Mr Maraga as a man of integrity, who is ready to ensure transformation of the judiciary.

“I am sure corruption will be a thing of the past,” said Kudate.

Maraga has said he will work at eliminating graft in the judiciary, which he claims stands at 10%.
