Machakos Woman Representative Joyce Kamene has issued stern warning to those who defile children in the county.
Kamene said the defilers' days were numbered.
Speaking in Mwala, Machakos County on Friday, the County MP said coverup of such cases had led to their inflation.
Kamene said child defilement can be history in Machakos if all residents join hands in fighting the heinous act in the society.
"Those with the behavior should beware,we are on your case 24/7we won't tolerate beasts interested in ruining our girl's future," Kamene said.
She warned parents against negotiating with defilers stating such cases should be reported to the police immediately without fear or favor.
Kamene said defilement causes trauma in children hence parents whose children have been defiled should take them for counseling.
"These outrageous acts are dragging our society back. If such cases are reported here, I will offer my full support to ensure justice is served to the victims and the perpetrator is punished accordingly," Kamene said.
She told Machakos residents that she will ensure minority groups benefit from the National Government Affirmative Action Fund.
Kamene asked women, youths and people living with disabilities to form self help groups in order to benefit from such funds.
