A woman in Thika's Kiganjo area is demanding to know where her husband was buried three years ago.
Elizabeth Njeri on Friday said that the suffering she has been enduring together with her three kids is too much for her to bear any longer.
Njeri attributed her suffering to the husband's family members who she accused of burying Joseph Kiarie secretly in an unmarked grave.
“My husband died while being taken to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and I was not in the company of those who had taken him to hospital," she said.
"When I arrived at KNH, I found that they had written my husband's brother as the next of kin.”
“When I asked them why they did that they beat me up and called me a prostitute," she claimed.
Njeri said that she has been contemplating suicide for a while after their one-roomed rental house was infested by lice.
"I feel like killing myself and my kids. I was evicted from the house we were living in and the owner refused to refund me Sh2,000 deposit saying I have filled his plot with lice," she said.
