According to the woman’s husband, James Omae, who is also a bodaboda rider, he reunited with the woman one week ago after the parted ways last year December.

“I am not a happy man because the woman I thought has changed her bad behaviors has caused me losses. I want police officers to search for the woman and arrest her to face prosecution,” said Omae.

He denied that they had differences with the woman.

“I had no any difference with her because the differences we had we solved and agreed to start a new life one week ago. I don’t know what made her to take such bad step to set the house on fire destroying everything in the house,” he added.

James Musyimi area police boss confirmed the incident and said residents should volunteer information to police to ease the arrest of the woman.

Musyimi noted that women should move to their parental homes whenever they have differences with husbands.

“It seems the woman wanted to kill the man but God intervened. We will not rest until we arrest her to tell us why she set the house on fire,” said Musyimi.
