Musyoka told this reporter in a briefing this morning that the injured Mary Wanjiku was accosted by the assailant at around 8pm at a road in the estate while in company of two other women and attacked with a penknife on her head after a quarrel. She said the quarrel revolved around a love affair that had gone sour before the assailant demanded back his memory card he claimed the woman had removed from his phone sometime back. “The attacker has since gone undercover. Police went to look for him at his place of work and home but he was nowhere to be seen. Police are still looking for him and investigating the matter,’’ she said adding that the woman was treated at the Nakuru General Hospital and discharged before recording a statement at the police station.
