A woman was on Wednesday morning arrested for killing her husband following a domestic disagreement.
Witnesses say that the woman; Caroline Moruye stabbed her husband identified as Gilbert in the wee hours of Wednday morning.
This happened in Nyatieko, Kitutu Chache South in Kisii County.
"What I understand is that the man questioned the lady of where she has been sleeping for the last three days before they started fighting," Raphael Kerema said.
Kisii County police commander Hassan Abdi said that the suspect surrendered to Nyakoe police station after committing the crime.
"She opted to surrender to the police as she feared for her life. This is because angry residents were baying for her blood," he said.
Mr Abdi said that the suspect will be arraigned in court on Thursday.
"Couples should also solve their differnces peacefully without unnecessary fights," he said.
