There was drama on Monday at Nyamondo village South Mugirango Kisii County after a middle-aged woman stripped naked after she consumed alcohol.
Residents said the woman identified only as Bosibori fled from her matrimonial home after a disagreement with her husband.
“It is a big shame for Bosibori to strip naked in front of the whole community. It seems this could be the reason as to why she disagreed with her husband,” said Maureen Oganyo.
Mrs Oganyo said elders were left in rude shock seeing the woman walking naked and screaming.
“She walked naked because she could not allow anyone to dress her. Elders were left worried since the Kisii culture does not allow such in the community” she added.
She noted that the woman threatened to kill her child who is 6 months but neighbors rescued the child.
