A Nakuru woman whose plight was highlighted on social media is set to receive an electric wheelchair.
The mother of two got into the limelight after the media covered her being moved to her placed of work by her school going child.
Nakuru County CEC for Youth, Gender, Culture, Sports and Social Service Halima Gababa visited the mother living with disability.
She noted that the county government will purchase an electric wheelchair for her to ease her movement to and from her work place in Shabab.
She said the electric wheelchair will ease her movement and relieve her son of having to push her mother to work place daily.
