A Nakuru court yesterday deferred taking of a plea against a 37-year-old woman arrested by anti-narcotics officers for allegedly being in possession of 275 rolls of bhang.
Senior principal magistrate Loise Komingoi postponed the plea of Britta Nyambura after the prosecution sought for more time to avail exhibits in the case in court.
The mother of one, who appeared in court with her baby of four months strapped on her back, is said to have been found with the illegal drugs valued at Sh6,000 on March 2, at Tumaini village, in Mirangine.
The court ordered the police to avail her in court on March 5 to take the plea.
