A woman who has severally been arrested for engaging in commercial sex working shocked many when she publicly announced that she will not stop the business.
The woman identified as Linet Omanga was speaking at Daraja Mbili market on Monday after she was released by the Kisii High Court.
"This is the business that has been feeding my family for the last seven years and am not planning to quit anytime soon," said the single mother of three.
Ms Omanga said that she ventured into the business after she dropped put of school for lack of school fees.
According to her, the business has assisted her a lot as she now owns a piece of land.
She also said that she was happy living as a single mother and would never get married.
"I am working hard so that my kids don't go through the type of life that I have gone through," she said.
Ms Omanga caused a scene that attracted hundreds of onlookers as she chased away her relatives who had gone to see her after hearing the news of her arrest.
She wondered why they were only interested with her whenever they heard that she had been arrested.
