A middle-aged man is nursing injuries at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret town after his manhood was chopped off by his wife.
The man is said to have encountered the incident after having differences with his wife at Shauri estate on the outskirts of Eldoret town.
The two, according to locals are in their 30’s and have two children.
According to Eldoret West Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) Samuel Mutunga, the incident was as a result of a domestic wrangle.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday, Mutunga said the woman has already been arrested and is expected to be arraigned in court charged with sexual harassment.
"We received information that a woman in Shauri estate had chopped off her husband’s private parts. Initial reports we have indicate this is as a result of a domestic conflict," said Mutunga.
"However we are yet to ascertain the actual conflict that led to the unfortunate incident," he added.
The OCPD noted that the man was rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret where doctors managed to fix the private parts back.
"The man is now receiving treatment and doctors have assured us that he is out of danger," he said.
