Nakuru Town West Women Enterprise Fund officer Martha Kimuyu has cautioned all beneficiaries in the region against non-compliance with their loan repayment process.

She is certain that action will soon be taken against defaulters.

The officer is considering to embark on a loan recovery process to fulfill payment that has accumulated to an arrears of Sh1,087,890.08.

However, the officer noted that there has been instability for most businesses they funded in that sub-county over the county government's directive that all traders within the central business district vacate from the town to designated areas.

This, she added, took time before the businesses could get on track.

Also, the officer is concerned with the rising number of unforeseen group disputes which she said were triggering women to withdraw.

According to the loans officer, credit uptake has been on a large scale in Nakuru West, a region that holds 288 groups of which quite a good number has been making prepayments hence a good gesture.
