A section of women group drawn from Kisii County has endorsed Kisii County women representative Mrs Mary Otara to defend her seat for another term.
According to the women group, Mrs Otara has worked hard towards empowering women from the area and more so groups and there was a need for them to give her another chance to deliver more.
Led by one of the women group chair lady Elizabeth Ongoro the women said that they are happy to be served by Otara and they have been able to access the government funds through her and they look forward to work along with her.
“Despite facing opposition from other aspirants we know that she will emerge the winner as she is the best performer compared to other leaders from the region,” she added.
Ongoro called upon other women from the county to ensure that they re-elect her for being a visionary leader who can bring ‘goodies’ to the region.
Ongoro was speaking on Monday when they met with the area women representative Mrs Mary Otara at Daraja Mbili primary.
