Nairobi women’s representative aspirant Millicent Omanga has been heavily criticized on social media for branding metal boxes with her name before donating them to needy students in Embakasi ward.
While making donations this week online users noticed she branded the donations with her name and were quick to notice the change and they congratulated her
“Thanks, you took my advice and now you are giving the metal boxes without the elaborate words showing they are a donation, their parents shall definitely reciprocate by giving their vote,” said Zablon Theuri an online user who was at the fore front in criticizing Omanga.
Another online user Zack Njoka said “Thank you for listening to your loyal supporters, positive criticism is the way to go.”
Nzioki Wa Kaloki another online user noted the change congratulating Omanga for not branding the donations with her name.
Omanga is seeking to win the woman representative position in a Jubilee ticket during the August general election.
