Kiambu County Women Representative Hannah Gatheca has condemned the manner in which ODM Executive Director Magerer Langat was evicted from Orange House.
Gatheca said that the act was barbaric and lacked a sense of leadership adding that parties should be accommodative to all people irrespective of their tribes or background.
“What we saw in Orange House was shameful and should not be meted on any leader. We need to be tolerant with each other however critical they are to us. Let us allow everyone to hold their opinion,” said Gatheca.
The Women Representative noted that politics of exclusion are long gone in present day Kenya.
“Kenya has 42 tribes and the earlier some leaders know that the better. We welcome Kenyans to join political parties where they feel accepted and treated with dignity,” she added.
Gatheca was speaking in Kiganjo, Gatundu South on Friday during a prayer meeting for class eight candidates. She wished the candidates success in the forthcoming examinations.
