Speaking in Gilgil on Sunday, Kinyanjui said all elected leaders should unite and work together for the benefit of residents.

"Let us not waste even a single minute, let's work together to develop our county," Kinyanjui said.

The soft-spoken county boss said the only way leaders can get a second term in office is if they deliver on promises made during campaigns.

"We will work hard to deliver on our promises to ensure major issues raised by residents in the last campaigns do not feature in the next one," he said.

Kinyanjui was attending a thanksgiving ceremony for nominated MCA Rose Gathoni at Gilgil stadium. He was flanked by Woman Representative Liza Chelule, area MP Martha Wangari and a host of Members of County Assembly.
