Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has told the Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to work with Uhuru and Raila if he is serious of his 2022 presidential bid.
said that if Kalonzo Musyoka is serious on his 2022 bid he should work closely with President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM chief Raila Odinga.
Kibwana said whoever will win Uhuru and Raila's endorsement in 2022 will win by a big margin.
The governor spoke during the signing of performance contract in Kwa Kathoa area in Makueni County on Friday.
He said it's no secret that Uhuru and Raila have higher voter command.
"Kalonzo should start making plans, he can't prevail in 2022 if he doesn't have the support of President Uhuru and Raila Odinga," Kibwana said.
Kibwana urged the Kamba community to rally behind Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka for his bid to be successful.
He said Kalonzo is the best suited among all the politicians who have shown interests in the 2022 presidency.
Kibwana said Kalonzo had proven himself worthy of Kenyan's votes.
"Kalonzo has all the qualities to be president come 2022, for now he's the best shot," he said.
