The World Bank has honoured Equity Bank for its transformative work on the African continent.In a 286 page book, the Bretton Woods institution devoted a chapter to the Kenyan bank, commending it for its Pan-African outlook.The World Bank urged other banks to adopt Equity's model.The book is titled ''Developing Africa's Financial Services - The Importance of high impact entrepreneurship''.
