World Music Day celebrations are set to be held in  Nairobi from next week.

The event will be held at the Alliance Française garden stage. 

This year, expect to be entertained by young talented musicians followed by Tetu Shani, Abaki Simba and Suraj.

‘La Fête de la Musique’, popularly known as World Music Day, was initiated and is held annually on 21st June marking the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. This tradition is celebrated in more than 700 cities around the world with free musical performances.
