The Matunda Bus Company vehicle that killed over 36 people on Sunday, along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway was reported to the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) back in September 2017.

On Sunday December 31, the bus was involved in a head on collision with a trailer, ‘in the extreme left climbing lane.’

According to a witness the bus was over speeding and using the wrong lane.

It has been revealed that the killer bus was on September 25 caught on tape overtaking at Kinungi, an area that has been marked as a blackspot.

A Twitter user (Big Sam) took on twitter to report the incident to the authority but no action was taken.

Instead, he said, they (NTSA) asked him for his full names, email address and his phone number.

Here are tweets that Big sam sent.

@ntsa_kenya on 25th sept 2017, I reported a case against the Nairobi bus Co for reckless driving but fell on deaf ears. The bus company has worst/killer drivers on the road. 3 months later same company has killed over 30 at Migaa..may their souls haunt you. @Ma3Route@RobertAlai

Big Sam@inspirer20100But NTSA has since banned night travel for all long distance public service vehicles. For those asking for the video, here it goes, is he a killer driver or not? Don't forget its the dangerous blackspot Kinungi steep.
