Worshipers at Restoration Church Kirangi had to scamper for safety as a fight broke out among members of two factions.

The factions are claiming the bonafide role of leading the church.

Anti-riot police had to be called to calm the situation.

Efforts to reach leaders of the church were futile.

Curious onlookers claimed the fight was as a result of a collapsed agreement on how to share the church's offering.

"It's all about sadaka, they claim one side is eating it alone," George Murage said.
