The Member of Parliament for Yatta Constituency Francis Mwangangi has faulted governor Alfred Mutua for intruding and sacking doctors over false accusations.
Speaking in his Matuu CDF offices on Wednesday, Mwangangi supported the Machakos County doctors and wants Mutua to apologise.
"We will not sit and watch our health sector deteriorate and our doctors getting disrespected which in return is affecting the services in our hospitals," he added.
This comes few days after doctors in Machakos County sent a letter to governor Mutua demanding for an apology in 7 days.
"In Yatta, our hospitals lack enough medicines and the grassroots level citizen end up receiving poor health services," said Mwangangi.
The Kenya Medical Practitioners Union, Dentists board have publicly demanded for a public apology from Governor Mutua for suspension of three medical officers in Kathiani Hospital.
