Addressing residents at Yatta trading center on Wednesday, the lawmaker said he has no ill feelings against the government and that he will work with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto.

Mwangangi said all leaders irrespective of their political thinking must work together for development.

“I am working with Jubilee leaders for the sake of developing Yatta constituency,” he said.

Mwangangi also said that it is time for leaders to concentrate on policies that will benefit the people.

The Yatta legislator stated that Kenyans are facing challenges that need leaders’ focus and concentration.

The MP on the same note asked Governor Alfred Mutua to reach out to all leaders in the county.

He intimated that animosity and wrangles amongst leaders in the county would only hinder development.

Mwangangi asked county Senator Johnstone Muthama to iron out his differences with Governor Mutua.

Muthama has been criticizing the county leadership accusing it of undermining workers.
