Activist Boniface Mwangi has scoffed off at the opposition Cord's commitment to fighting corruption terming it vain.
Mwangi on Wednesday said Cord was not committed to ending the runaway corruption in the country as they had deliberately refused to address their own graft issues.
"Let's not pretend, Cord too has graft scandals involving some of its members but they have refused to address such. The main cities in this country are all under Cord governors but surprisingly they are the ones that are also engaging in corruption and abuse of office," he told Radio Maisha.
He further blasted Cord chief Raila Odinga for exhibiting double standards in dealing with corruption cases.
"When Kidero was accused of bribing a judge he (Raila) said zilch, same to when Joho was accused of engaging in drugs business. He deliberately ignored," he added.
He advised Cord to clean their house first by getting rid of all corrupt elements before pointing accusing fingers at others.
