The Chama cha Uzalendo (CCU) party leader, Wavinya Ndeti has said that Machakos senator, Johnston Muthama is a toothless dog in the Wiper party.
The leader was speaking in Makutano, Ikombe, on Saturday.
Wavinya stated that Muthama had no right to dictate whether Wiper should be allowed to join hands with CCU simply because he is not a member of the Wiper national executive council.
“We are not bothered by what some of these leaders in Wiper have to say because we have information that they are not even part of the party’s national executive council,” said Wavinya.
These remarks came from the party leader after Muthama stated that Cord would not liaison with any other party in 2017.
Wavinya, however, needs the support of Wiper as she contests for the Machakos gubernatorial seat next year.
