Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has hit out at Interior PS Karanja Kibicho saying that he will not allow him (Karanja) to dictate to him how to run the county.
Speaking at Kameme FM during an interview on Monday, the governor accused Kibicho of meddling in his work at the helm of the city.
He said he was not going to take orders from a 'small' man like Kibicho and added that the PS has been issuing orders to him over Nairobi matters.
Sonko said the PS was working closely with a Jubilee politician whom he had identified and was forcing the governor to appoint him deputy governor of the county.
"I'm telling Karanja Kibicho that a PS is a very small person to issue orders and threats to me. I only take orders from two people; the President and his deputy," the governor said.
"Kibicho and his cartel tried to block me from vying as governor. They tried to frustrate my efforts to obtain a certificate of good conduct but shetani akashindwa," he added.
