Ukambani politician and Nairobi senator Mike Sonko has warned deputy president William Ruto against hiding advice from his city friends.
Sonko has claimed that there is a political cartel in Nairobi that is feeding DP with lies. He terms them conmen who do not have any know how about the real Nairobi political temperatures.
The popular politician was responding to the heated debate about city's Jubilee gubernatorial ticket in 2017. He said this on Saturday while in Kericho County at Ainamoi during Scanty Chelang'at's homecoming ceremony.
The flashy senator was given an exceptional reception by locals. Sonko was attending the ceremony after he funded the 10-year-old medical trip to China last year.
She is now a cancer survivor thanks to the philanthropic and charitable Sonko. He has started extending his helping hand to the needy beyond Machakos and the capital city.
The Daily Nation quoted him saying, “There is a clique of political conmen in Nairobi which has been lying to Mr Ruto that if I become the governor of Nairobi next year, I would hinder his ambitions to become president in 2022 by running [for president]. Those are liars who must be condemned and be defeated at all costs.”
The Nairobi senator pledged his support for Jubilee presidential push and total support for William Ruto in 2022. He insisted that he is the best candidate jubilee should field in 2017.
