Mbadi further said that the Funyula legislator was free to submit his resignation papers to the Secretary General or to the National Executive Council.

The Suba Member of Parliament further accused Dr Otuoma for going against the resolution by the Central Management Committee during a meeting that was chaired by the party leader Raila Odinga last week.

In the meeting, various issues were discussed including those aired by disgruntled party members after which it was agreed that the members should desist from public pronouncements.

Mbadi further accused Dr Otuoma and Mr Namwamba of causing unnecessary discord in the party saying that the two have ulterior motives which they are trying to use to wreck the party.

He however said that the planned meeting for the party will just go on as planned even after the resignation of Otuoma.
