Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga' senior adviser Miguna Miguna has rejected a job offer from flamboyant Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, saying he does not need a job from Sonko.

On his official Twitter handle on Monday, Sonko had declared that he was ready to offer Miguna Miguna a top job in the county should he be elected Nairobi Governor in the upcoming elections.

This never went well with Mr Miguna who quickly rejected the offer from Sonko, saying he does not need it.

"Despite Miguna constantly abusing and defaming me, I will appoint him in government should I win the 2017 Nairobi Gubernatorial seat," said Sonko on his Twitter handle.

Miguna however, immediately rejected the offer saying he will never work with the Senator.

The two are gunning for the seat of Nairobi governor in 2017.

Sonko, after Miguna's response, took a swipe at him saying he only needs to humble himself before contesting for the seat.

This comes barely a fortnight after Miguna attacked the Senator for being too 'incompetent' to lead a county like Nairobi.

Nairobi governor seat is currently held by Dr Evans Kidero.
