Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula are just 'flower girls' in the National Super Alliance (NASA), Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has said.

Speaking at Toloso in Sirisia constituency on Sunday, the Jubilee-allied Governor said the two leaders from the Luhya community were wasting their time staying in the Opposition coalition.

Lusaka claimed that none of the duo stand a chance of being picked as the opposition’s flag bearer or running mate in the forthcoming August 8 general elections.

“Everybody knows that Raila Odinga will be the NASA’s flag bearer and Kalonzo Musyoka the deputy, where are our sons in that line-up?” posed Lusaka.

Echoing the same sentiments, Sirisia MP John Waluke said the two NASA co-principals risk being rendered politically irrelevant if they continue to stick in the opposition which he said was going to lose in the August polls.

The legislator who recently defected to Jubilee Party from ODM, urged Mudavadi and Wetang’ula to join the goverment to save their political dwindling careers.

“Our people say when you go hunting you must bring something home. Both of them went to hunt in NASA but will come home with nothing. They should join Jubilee administration for political survival,” said Waluke.
