President Uhuru Kenyatta should stop being soft on opposition NASA and start acting in his full capacity as president of the country.
This is according to Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu.
Waititu asked the president to stop entertaining NASA leader Raila Odinga's "endless demands" and said he should instead take tough legal measures against him should he continue threatening to call for mass action and resistance.
"We are telling Uhuru that he is not a bishop. He should whip someone who causes problems because we want peace in Kenya," he said.
Waititu's sentiments come in the wake of Raila transforming his NASA opposition into a resistance movement.
He was speaking on Wednesday at Nyandundo village in Mirangine, Ol Kalou constituency.
