Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has said anyone found breaking the law will not be spared.
Speaking on Friday at Kebirichi secondary school Kitutu Masaba in Nyamira County, Matiang’i refuted claims that the government is using force on opposition leaders who are breaking the law.
"No force has been used to punish lawbreakers as claimed by some opposition leaders. We should have this country at heart and stop engaging in activities that will necessitate arrests,” he said.
The CS noted that the government will not sit and watch leaders leading in breaking the law.
“It is worrying that elected leaders are the ones leading in breaking the law instead of leading by example. The government will not tolerate such leaders who belong to jail,” he added.
