The IEBC is now calling for speedy investigation of its staff allegedly involved in election malpractices which led led to the nullification of the presidential polls by the Supreme Court.

Through chairperson Wafula Chebukati, the commission said they had already invited the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to help unearth the culprits. 

“ Whoever was part of that problem will have to take responsibility,” said Chebukati.

He added that they will overhaul the entire personnel and processes in order to protect the integrity of the sovereignty bestowed upon the people of Kenya by the Constitution as we head to the second election.
