Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang has advised University of Nairobi students to deploy better ways of addressing their grievances rather than resorting to chaos.
Speaking on a radio show on Tuesday, Kajwang advised the students to lodge complaints with relevant authorities in the university rather than stoning motorists and destroying properties.
He also chided the students for demonstrating over small issues saying they should instead have protested against wanton corruption and unemployment in the country.
The university was Tuesday closed indefinitely after violent protests by students over the controversial re-election of Babu Owino as the chairman of their students union.
